Every quarter, The Times offered discounts across its print and digital subscriptions.
The January Sale was no different. Except it was. This was their biggest discount of the year on 12-month deals, giving readers a good reason to stay informed for longer.
Solution
It's going to be another busy year.
We reimagined a year’s worth of headlines as single images, each one capturing the stories everyone had an opinion on.
From Theresa May to Donald Trump, every poster packed twelve months of twists, turns and talking points into one carefully crafted visual. A reminder that with the news, blink and you’ll miss more than you’d planned.
Results
One of The Times' biggest subscription successes.
The campaign generated 12,018 new subscribers, a 39% year-on-year increase, making it one of the newspaper’s most successful sales campaigns.
It also picked up DMA Gold for Best Design & Art Direction and a D&AD Wood Pencil, while readers and journalists celebrated the meticulous detail across every execution.
